Alanya, formerly known as Alaiye, is a beach resort city, municipality, and district located in the Antalya Province of Turkey. It is situated on the southern coast of the country within the Mediterranean Region, approximately 133 kilometres (83 mi) east of the city of Antalya.
The city covers an area of 1,577 km2 and had a population of 364,180 as of 2022. The city proper accounts for 189,222 of those inhabitants.
