Taşova is a town located in the Amasya Province within the central Black Sea region of Turkey. It serves as the administrative seat of the Taşova District and sits at an altitude of 230 meters above sea level.
As of 2021, the town has a population of 11,248 residents. The local government is currently led by Mayor Ömer Özalp of the Republican People's Party (CHP).
