Cobanlar

Çobanlar is a town and district center located in the Afyonkarahisar Province within the Aegean region of Turkey. It is situated in a plain approximately 25 km east of the city of Afyon. The town serves as the administrative seat of the Çobanlar District, which had a total population of 14,403 according to the 2024 census.

The area sits at an elevation of 990 meters above sea level and is bordered by distinct geographical features. To the south lies Bey Mountain, while the Sultan Mountains are located to the west. The current mayor of the district is Ali Altuntaş.
