Sbeitla is a small town located in west-central Tunisia. It serves as an important historical site, notably recognized as the initial entry point for the Muslim conquest of North Africa.
The area surrounding Sbeitla is home to the Roman ruins of Sufetula. These ruins are significant for containing the best preserved Roman forum temples found within the country.
