Gumdag, formerly known as Kum-Dag, is a town located in the Balkan Province of Turkmenistan. It is situated approximately 43 km southeast of the city of Balkanabat.
The town is notable for its geographical proximity to the Boyadag Mud Volcano, which lies to its southeast. As of 2022, Gumdag had a recorded population of 30,884 people.
