Viqueque is a city located in the south-east region of Timor-Leste. It is situated approximately 183 km away from the nation's capital, Dili.
The city serves as the capital of the Viqueque Municipality. This municipality oversees five administrative posts: Uato-Lari, Uatu-Carbau, Viqueque, Lacluta, and Ossu. According to 2015 data, the city has a population of 6,859 residents.
