Passabe is a small village located in Suco Abani within the country of Timor-Leste. It is situated in a region near the Indonesian border.
The location is historically significant as the site of a massacre involving East Timorese people. This violence was carried out by pro-Indonesia militias during the period following the 1999 referendum for Timor-Leste’s independence.
