Nunura was a Mesopotamian deity who was primarily regarded as a divine potter. In the religious traditions of Mesopotamia, he served as an artisan god associated with the craft of pottery.
In addition to his role as a craftsman, Nunura was associated with apotropaic magic and exorcisms. He was frequently invoked in various incantations specifically to ward off or combat demons. Later god lists identified him with Ea, reflecting a broader theological trend of characterizing artisan deities as specific aspects of that god.
