Maubisse is a historic town located in the hills of the Ainaro Municipality in Timor-Leste. It is situated approximately 70 km south of the national capital, Dili.
The area serves as a popular tourist destination and a common weekend getaway for residents of Dili. As of 2015, the suco had a population of 6,229 inhabitants.
