Motuhaga is an inhabited islet located within Nukunonu, which is the largest atoll in Tokelau. Tokelau is a dependency of New Zealand situated in the South Pacific Ocean.
While Nukunonu comprises 30 islets surrounding a central lagoon, Motuhaga is the only one of these islets that has residents. The atoll features a total land area of approximately 5.5 square kilometers and a lagoon surface area of 109 square kilometers. As of recent estimates, the population of Motuhaga is 531.
