Fayzabad is a town located in Tajikistan within the Rasht Valley. It is situated approximately 50 km east of the capital city, Dushanbe, and serves as the administrative seat of the Fayzabad District.
The town has a population of 10,400 residents. A notable cultural landmark in the area is the Sari Mazar mausoleum, which houses the remains of Abu Abdurahmon, an 8th-century Sufi saint from Balkh.
