Vanj is a village and jamoat located in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan. It serves as the administrative seat of the Vanj District.
The settlement is situated on the lower course of the river Vanj, which is a tributary of the Panj River. Geographically, it is separated from the Yazgulem to the south by the Vanj Range. The jamoat, also known as Abdulloev, had a recorded population of 11,217 in 2015.
