Aranyaprathet is a town located in the Sa Kaeo province of eastern Thailand. It encompasses the entire tambon of Aranyaprathet within the Aranyaprathet district and serves as a significant border hub, situated approximately 6 kilometres from the Cambodian frontier.

The town is characterized by its proximity to the Cambodian town of Poipet and the large Rong Kluea Market on the Thai side. This area facilitates extensive daily trade involving second-hand clothes, with Cambodian people frequently crossing the border using scooters and pushcarts. Additionally, the region is a destination for Thai residents seeking casinos located just across the border in Cambodia, where gambling is prohibited in Thailand.
