Ban Dung is a town located in north-eastern Thailand within the Isan region. It serves as the local government seat for the Ban Dung district (Amphoe) in the province of Udon Thani.
As of 2017, the town had a total population of 15,836 people. It is classified as a Thesaban Mueang, which denotes its status as an urban administrative area.
