Ko Pha-ngan is an island located in the Gulf of Thailand within the Surat Thani Province of southern Thailand. It is situated between two sister islands: the larger Ko Samui to the south and the smaller Ko Tao to the north.
The main town on the island is Thong Sala. The area serves as a notable geographical point in the Gulf region, characterized by its proximity to these neighboring islands.
