Nakhon Pathom is a city located in central Thailand and serves as the capital of Nakhon Pathom province.
The city features several notable landmarks, most significantly the giant Phra Pathommachedi. Additionally, it is home to Wat Song Thammakanlayani, which is recognized as Thailand's only Bhikkhuni temple and is open to women from abroad.
