Chonburi is the capital city of Chonburi Province in Thailand. Located approximately 100 km southeast of Bangkok along the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, it serves as a significant urban center within the Mueang Chonburi district.
The city is ranked as the seventh-largest city in Thailand and has an urban population of 342,959. Its name translates to "city of water."
