Bang Phli is a district (amphoe) located in the Samut Prakan province of Thailand. Historically, the area was once part of a proposal to establish a separate entity known as Nakhon Suvarnabhumi Province.
The district is most notably home to Suvarnabhumi Airport, which serves as Thailand's primary airport. The facility officially opened on September 28, 2006.
