Phra Nakhon is one of the 50 districts (khet) located in Bangkok, Thailand. It serves as the central district of the city and encompasses Rattanakosin Island.
The district is bordered by several other areas. To the north, it neighbors Dusit; moving clockwise, it is adjacent to Pom Prap Sattru Phai and Samphanthawong. Across the Chao Phraya River, the district borders Thon Buri, Bangkok Yai, Bangkok Noi, and Bang Phlat.
