Bang Bon is one of the 50 districts, known as khet, located within the capital city of Bangkok, Thailand. It serves as a geographical administrative division situated in the southern part of the metropolitan area.
The district is bordered by several other administrative areas. Moving clockwise from the north, its neighbors include the Bang Khae, Phasi Charoen, Chom Thong, and Bang Khun Thian districts of Bangkok. To the south and east, it borders the Mueang Samut Sakhon and Krathum Baen districts of Samut Sakhon province, while the Nong Khaem district of Bangkok lies to its west.
