Pathum Thani is a town located in central Thailand, situated directly north of the capital city, Bangkok. It serves as the administrative seat for both the Pathum Thani province and the Mueang Pathum Thani district.
As of 2005, the town had a recorded population of 18,320 people, which covered the entirety of the Bang Parok sub-district (tambon).
