Bang Rachan was a historical village located in the northern region of Ayutthaya, which served as the old capital of Siam, the predecessor state of modern Thailand. The site is currently situated within the Khai Bang Rachan District of Sing Buri Province.
The village is primarily recognized in Thai popular history for its resistance against Burmese invaders during the Burmese–Siamese War (1765–1767). This conflict ultimately led to the end of the Ayutthaya Kingdom.
