Pak Chong is the westernmost district (amphoe) of Nakhon Ratchasima province in northeastern Thailand. It serves as a primary gateway to the Isan region, as both major road and rail lines cross the Dong Phaya Yen Mountains through this area.
The district is a prominent tourist destination favored by weekend travelers from Bangkok. It features numerous resorts and attractions and serves as the main entrance to Khao Yai National Park.
