Chaloem Phra Kiat is a name shared by five distinct districts (amphoe) located in different provinces across Thailand. These include Chaloem Phra Kiat districts in the provinces of Buriram, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Nan, and Saraburi.
All five districts were established in 1996 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej's accession to the throne. The naming became effective on December 5, which is the birthday of the King. The name Chaloem Phra Kiat itself serves as an honorific way of addressing a member of the Thai royal family.
