Loei is a town located in northeast Thailand. It serves as the capital of Loei province and encompasses the entire tambon of Mueang Loei district.
The town is situated approximately 545 km north-northeast of Bangkok and 150 km west of Udon Thani. As of 2017, the population of Loei was recorded at 21,013.
