Phon Charoen is a sub-district located within the Phon Charoen District of Bueng Kan Province in northeastern Thailand. Situated in the southern part of the province, the area serves as a local administrative division with jurisdiction over 11 villages.
The sub-district is positioned along Thailand Route 222. Geographically, it lies south of Chumphu Phon and Si Wilai, while bordering Tha Kok Daeng to the north. As of 2010, the population of Phon Charoen was recorded at 10,254 people.
