Phetchabun is a town located in Thailand and serves as the capital of Phetchabun Province. It is situated along the Pa Sak River, approximately 340 km (210 mi) north of the nation's capital, Bangkok.
The town covers the tambon Nai Mueang area within the Phetchabun District. As of 2005, the population of the town was recorded at 23,823 residents.
