Phichit is a town located in central Thailand and serves as the capital of Phichit Province. It is situated approximately 326 km north of the nation's capital, Bangkok.
The town encompasses the entirety of tambon Nai Mueang within the Mueang Phichit district, covering a total area of 12.017 km². As of 2005, the population of Phichit was recorded at 23,791 residents.
