Uttaradit

Uttaradit is a town located in northern Thailand, situated approximately 483 km north of the capital city, Bangkok. It serves as the seat of government and the primary center of economic activity for Uttaradit Province.

Historically, the Mueang district of Uttaradit was originally known as Bang Pho and was previously under the jurisdiction of Phi Chai District. Following its establishment as a province, Bang Pho became the capital district before being renamed to Mueang Uttaradit District in recent years.
