Siphofaneni is a town located in the Lubombo Region of central Eswatini. It is situated approximately 45 kilometres from Manzini and 20 kilometres from Big Bend, which is a major sugarcane-producing hub on the main highway leading to Durban.
The town is positioned on the banks of the Usutu, the largest river in Swaziland. The surrounding area is characterized by several sugarcane farms and features hot springs. Siphofaneni experiences a tropical climate that is very hot during the summer months and cold in the winter. Malaria is endemic within the Lubombo Region.
