Taftanaz is a town located in northwestern Syria within the Idlib Governorate. It is situated approximately 17 kilometers northeast of the city of Idlib.
The town is primarily agricultural and is characterized by its surrounding wheat fields. Its architecture consists mainly of concrete buildings, and it is positioned near several other localities, including Ta'um, Binnish, Maarrat Misrin, Zardana, Maarrat al-Ikhwan, and Bawabiyah.
