Saraqib is a city located in northwestern Syria. It falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the Idlib Governorate and is situated to the east of the city of Idlib.
The city has experienced significant conflict during the Syrian Civil War. It was initially captured by rebel forces in 2012, before being recaptured by the Syrian Army in 2020. Most recently, Saraqib was captured by the Syrian Salvation Government during a 2024 offensive in northwestern Syria.
