Salqin

Syria

Salqin is a town located in northwestern Syria. Administratively, it serves as the center of its own nahiya, or subdistrict, within the Idlib Governorate.

The town is situated near several other localities, including Kafr Takharim to the southeast, Abu Talha to the south, Delbiya to the southwest, al-Alani to the northwest, and Isqat to the northeast. As of the 2004 census, Salqin had a population of 23,700 residents, who are predominantly Sunni Muslim.
