Kafr Takharim

Kafr Takharim is a town located in northwestern Syria within the Idlib Governorate. It serves as the administrative center of the Kafr Takharim nahiyah, a district comprising nine villages with a combined population of 14,772. The town is situated in the northern part of the governorate and is surrounded by several nearby localities, including Harem to the north, Salqin to the northwest, Abu Talha to the west, and Armanaz to the south.

According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Kafr Takharim had a population of 10,084 during the 2004 census. The inhabitants of the area are predominantly Sunni Muslims.
