Bidama is a town located in northern Syria within the Idlib Governorate. It is situated northwest of Idlib along the border with Turkey. The town serves as the administrative center and is the second largest locality of the Bidama nahiyah, which comprises 14 localities.
According to the 2004 census conducted by the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Bidama had a population of 4,162 residents. The inhabitants of the area are predominantly Sunni Muslim Kurds. Nearby localities include al-Najiyah to the southeast, Jisr al-Shughur to the east, and Shughur al-Fuqani and al-Janudiyah to the northeast.
