Maharda is a Christian city located in western Syria. It is situated approximately 23 kilometers northwest of Hama and falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the Hama Governorate.
The city is positioned along the Orontes River, near the Ghab Plain. It is surrounded by several nearby localities, including Halfaya and Taybat al-Imam to the east, Khitab to the southeast, and Maarzaf to the south. Other neighboring areas include Asilah and Jubb Ramlah to the southwest, while Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah lie to the north.
