Tadef is a town located in Syria, situated southeast of Al-Bab and approximately 20 miles (32 km) east of Aleppo. It lies less than 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) south of the city of Al-Bab.
The town is historically significant as the site of a shrine dedicated to the Jewish prophet Ezra. Due to this religious connection, it served as a popular summer resort for the Jewish community residing in Aleppo.
