Jarabulus is a city located in Syria within the Aleppo Governorate. It is situated on the western bank of the Euphrates River and lies north of Euphrates Lake. Geographically, it is positioned just south of the Syria–Turkey border, near the Turkish town of Karkamış.
According to the 2004 census, the city had a population of 11,570. However, this figure has seen significant growth during the period of the Syrian civil war.
