Al-Nabek, also known as An-Nabek, is a city in Syria that serves as the capital of the Qalamoun region. It is administratively part of Rif Dimashq and is situated at an altitude of 1,255 meters (4,117 ft). The city is located approximately 81 kilometers (50 mi) north of Damascus and south of Homs.

According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics census in 2004, An-Nabek had a population of 32,548. A notable historical site near the city is the Monastery of St. Moses the Abyssinian, which is located along the Anti-Lebanon Mountains and dates back to at least the 6th century.
