Salkhad

Syria

Salkhad is a city located in the Suwayda Governorate in southern Syria. It serves as the capital of the Salkhad District, which is one of three districts within the governorate.

The city's population was recorded at 9,155 inhabitants during the 2004 census. The demographic makeup of Salkhad is predominantly Druze, with minority populations consisting of Christians and Sunni Muslim Bedouins.
