Al Ghariyah is a village situated on the northeast coast of Qatar within the municipality of Al Shamal. It was established in 1885 by settlers originating from the town of Al Wakrah.
Historically, the location served as a site of contention between Qatari tribes allied with the Ottomans and those loyal to Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani.
