Markada is a town located in the southern portion of the al-Hasakah Governorate in northeastern Syria. It serves as the administrative center for the Nahiya Markada, which encompasses a total of 13 municipalities.
According to data from the 2004 census, the population of Markada was recorded at 2,530 residents.
