Al-Dirbasiyah is a Syrian town located on the border with Turkey, situated directly opposite the Turkish town of Şenyurt. It is administratively part of the Al-Hasakah Governorate.
The town serves as the administrative center of a nahiyah (subdistrict) that encompasses 113 localities. According to the 2004 census from the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, the population of Al-Dirbasiyah was 8,551, while the total population of its subdistrict was 55,614. The majority of the inhabitants are Kurds, with Arabs and Assyrians forming minority groups.
