Prospect Farm

Sint Maarten

Prospect Farm is a location situated on a hill overlooking Petersburg, Kentucky. It was established by steamboat captain J. C. Jenkins, who originally hailed from Orange County, Virginia, before relocating to Boone County in 1832.

The property originally comprised approximately 1,200 acres of land. During his tenure there, Jenkins engaged in cattle raising and invested in the Boone County Distilling Company.
