São João dos Angolares is a small town located on the east coast of São Tomé Island in the country of São Tomé and Príncipe. It serves as the administrative seat of the Caué District. The town is situated approximately 17 km southwest of Santana, 17 km northeast of Porto Alegre, and 24 km southwest of the national capital, São Tomé.
The local population was recorded as 3,605 in 2012. The area is notable for being a site where Angolar (Ngola), a Portuguese-based creole language, is spoken. A significant landmark in the town is the Roça São João plantation complex, which has been restored to function as an arts centre, hotel, and restaurant. The local football club is known as UDRA.
