Zakka is a fashion and design phenomenon that originated in Japan and has since spread throughout Asia. The term describes a wide range of items—essentially "everything and anything"—that are intended to improve an individual's home, life, or appearance.
The movement often features household items from the West that may be considered kitsch in their countries of origin, as well as Japanese goods primarily from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Additionally, zakka includes contemporary handicrafts, Nordic or Scandinavian designs (both past and present), and items categorized as "Asian Kakka," which typically refers to products from Southeast Asia.
