Poesoegroenoe, also known as Pusugrunu or Psugrunu, is a village located in the Sipaliwini District of central Suriname. It is situated within the Boven Saramacca region and lies along the banks of the Saramacca River.
The village serves as a primary residence for the Matawai maroons. Specifically, it is the home of the gaanman, who is the traditional leader of the Matawai people.
