Poeloegoedoe

Suriname

Poeloegoedoe is a village situated in the Sipaliwini District of Suriname. It is specifically located along the Tapanahony River at its confluence with the Lawa River within the Tapanahony resort area.

The settlement is inhabited by maroons of the Ndyuka people. The village derives its name from the nearby Poeloegoedoe Falls.
