Xiis, also known as Heis, is a historic coastal town situated in the Sanaag region of Somaliland, located within the country of Somalia.
The town served as a significant hub for trade and communication between the Somali interior and the coast. Historically, it was notably used as an export point for frankincense destined for Arabia.
