War Idaad, also known as Wandad, Waridad, or Waridud, is a town located in the Sool region of Somaliland. It serves as a local settlement within the administrative framework of the country's northern territories.
The area underwent significant administrative restructuring starting in 2008, when surrounding villages were combined and promoted to form the War Idaad District. Subsequently, several additional districts were merged to create the Saraar Region. In 2020, these entities were further reorganized into the current Aynabo District of the Sool Region.
